Leigh Kirchner

Leigh joined CIMA in 2021 after having served as Director of Development and Donor Relations at the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank and Advancement Manager at Appalachian Voices. Her prior experience spans membership, grants and institutional fundraising, and individual donor development. She has areas of interest in developing impact measurements and advancing efforts toward building more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations. Leigh is a proud supporter and board member at Wild Virginia, where she serves as Treasurer. She has a bachelor of arts in English from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master of arts in Appalachian Studies from Appalachian State University.
