Over the past 12 years, Beatriz has provided critical insights to decision-makers at 15 philanthropic, nonprofit, and governmental organizations, helping them achieve their impact goals. Before joining CIMA, she served as a philanthropic decision-maker, grant manager, and grant writer, gaining expertise in fundraising strategy and nonprofit scaling across diverse missions, including youth development, diversity in STEM, criminal justice reform, workforce development, and environmental justice.
A proud Latina and immigrant from Honduras, Beatriz grew up in her native country and Southern California. Her experiences navigating two cultures and traveling across four continents have shaped her commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and fostering cross-cultural understanding. She believes that words hold immense power; when crafted with care and precision, they can influence and drive change. As a consultant at CIMA, she brings this ethos to her work.
